UPDATED: Pipeline protest blocking Granville Street Bridge

A protest has blocked the intersection of Granville and Drake in Downtown 鶹ýӳfollowing a protest that started Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Cambie and Broadway and lasted until early this morning.

鶹ýӳpolice have stated that the protest is currently blocking the Granville Street Bridge in both directions. As such, drivers are advised to avoid the area.

TransLink has also advised commuters of a number of detours due to the march. Acording to the latest alert, the 4 UBC/ Powell, 7 Dunbar/Nanaimo Station, 10 Downtown/Granville, 14 UBC/Hastings, 16 Arbutus/29th Ave Station and 50 Waterfront Station/False Creek service are on detour due to a march blocking the Granville Bridge.

Delays up to 30 minutes have been reported.

@BissonYVR had Tweeted that Dunsmuir street isclosed at Seymour and that all traffic isturingnorth on Seymour.
