Dont fork around

Hey Wayne M. [Blame game, Rant/Rave Sept. 29], I am with ya brother! Absolutely! If you find you are getting crappy service then by all means dont tip, or tip less than the standard of 15-20 per cent. This is why we have a tipping system. The point was that a previous Rant/Rave writer felt obliged to tip [when] he wanted to not tip. I agree with you that poor service demands a poor tip and great service, in kind, an appropriately good tip. I too have had bad service. I have brought it to the attention of the owner and/or manager as to why there would be a bad tip so said bad service can be rectified and the waiter doesnt simply think I was scrimping the pennies. Sometimes its just a persons off day. So tip as you see fit.

Facepalm

Facebook is one of the most stupid things I have ever seen! It is a complete waste of time, money and resources. It was designed by children for children. It is for losers and people who have no focus. Shut up with Facebook and get a life! Do some volunteer work! Help the homeless! Stop posting shit!

No empty space

This is a response to Drop 24 limit [Rant/Rave Sept. 29]. It is actually all because of a space issue in the store. It would be nice to have a bottle depot put in the West End and taken out of the stores completely because it is such a filthy, filthy mess that we, the staff, deal with daily. We find everything you can imagine, including needles, in bottles. So take it right out of the stores because the front of the store is very, very nice, but youd be surprised.

La bicy-etiquette

Re: Helmets for drivers [Rant/Rave Sept. 29]. Dolt! Cars have safety features (mandatory under law, just like helmets). Theyre called seat belts and air bags. For bicycles, its helmets and lights/reflectors. Stop being whiny and follow the effin law you arrogant douchebags! Oh, and get the hell off my sidewalk! All that bitching about how cars are dangerous to you? Its double the risk to pedestrians when you reckless, arrogant daredevils blast down a sidewalk illegally with your pathetic Tour de France fantasies.
