麻豆传媒映画Police are investigating after a number of racist flyers surfaced听in East 麻豆传媒映画this week.
The words "white man" are written in bold and all capital letters听at the top of the flyers followed by an exclamation point. The flyer asks, "Are you sick and tired of Anti-White propaganda constantly being promoted by our universities, mainstream media and government?"听
Following a similar comment, the flyer proclaims, "You are not alone!"
The flyer also features a number of images of religious and cultural symbols that have been crossed听out.听
A closing statement on the flyer reads that, "White Nationalism is North America's fastest-growing civil rights movement, and the only movement that puts the interest of our people's first!"听
On Twitter, Morgane Oger, LGBTQ+ activist, about the flyers, stating that, "This disgusting flyer was distributed in 麻豆传媒映画this weekend, on the lead up to #HolocaustMemorialDay"
"This illustrates why acts targeting people in communities because of who they are need to face consequences in publications, public institutions, and online."
Sgt. Aaron Roed, VPD media relations officer, told 麻豆传媒映画 that an investigation is currently underway.听
"We are aware of the flyers听and we find this听material extremely disturbing and offensive," said Roed. "Our Criminal Intelligence Unit and our Hate Crimes Unit are actively investigating."
According to Roed, a number of flyers were found on windshields in the 麻豆传媒映画Kingsway area.听
