**An earlier version of this story stated it was a seven-vehicle collision. That number has been corrected to 10, following confirmation from RCMP.
An investigation is still underway following a 10-vehicle collision that jammed up Highway 1 heading southbound Saturday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to the incident at the bottom of the Cut just before Lynn Creek a little before 1:30 p.m.
There were no reported injuries, according to assistant fire chief David Dales, of District of North 麻豆传媒映画Fire and Rescue Services.
鈥淚t was just a chain reaction accident,鈥 said Dales, noting that many tow trucks were required to remove the vehicles from the scene.
The RCMP Highway Patrol are still investigating what caused the series of collisions, but distracted driving may be to blame, according to Dales.
Traffic was diverted down the nearby Mountain Highway exit following the collision before opening back up again, said Dales.
鈥淲e just want to keep the message out there: drive safe,鈥 he said.
