Friday's early morning winter storm has prompted B.C. Ferries to cancel sailings on several routes.
In an "important travel advisory," B.C. Ferries details morning cancellations due to heavy wind on major and smaller routes across its service, with the status of later sailings undetermined.
- Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay: 7 a.m., 9 a.m. cancelled, later sailings TBD

B.C. Ferries is urging passengers who plan to travel with them today to check the status of their sailings as soon as possible.Ìý
Those with reservations who do not check in and whose trips are cancelled will have theirÌýreservation fees automatically refunded.

"Once sailings resume, customers will be loaded beginning with those reserved on the scheduled sailing, followed by the remaining customers in the order they arrived at the terminal," according to B.C. Ferries.
