The fried chicken joint will have “The Derek” available for dine-in and take-out at their West End location only, conveniently located near Sunset Beach where the annual 4/20 pot celebration takes place.
All of your cravings can easily be met by this ultimate epic meld of savoury, sweet, and spicy. “The Derek” is made with fried chicken, cheese sauce, pickled cabbage and jalapeños sandwiched between two liège-style waffles, and is served with a side of rolling papers, all for $10.
Billed as a “sandwich-and-spliff” special, “The Derek” will disappear faster than the haze sure to linger over the nearby beaches on this sacred day of pot smoking.
PS, if you are craving some Juke, but are more about the family-friendly than the 420-friendly, you might want to get an order in for their seasonal Turkducken meal, ideal for Easter gatherings.
