鶹ýӳrescue dogs will put their best paws forward in a charity fashion show this month aimed at raising awareness about pooches in need of fur-ever homes.

The fashion show, called DOGUE, is being held at the 鶹ýӳFall Home Show Oct. 26 in support of , a 鶹ýӳnon-profit society focused on rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing dogs.

The organization has helped hundreds of dogs find new homes since it started its mission in 2009 to “rescue and re-home as many adoptable dogs at risk of being euthanized, surrendered, abused, or neglected” as possible.

The su-paw models walking in the show are all dogs that have been successfully adopted through the organization. The pups will be sporting threads supplied by as they strut down the runway with their adoptive parents.

The fashion show will not only showcase new doggy apparel but garner awareness on the process of adopting dogs in need throughout the city and surrounding area.

The , running from Oct. 24 at 4 p.m. to Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. at 鶹ýӳConvention Centre, features high-interest exhibits, high-profile industry personalities and the latest home and lifestyle trends.

The charitable doggy fashion show is being held on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 3 p.m.
