Players with the BC Lions joined local food enthusiasts at the Hyatt Regency on March 7 for the Healthy Chef competition.
The winners are as follows:
Best Entree: Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Community College made up of members of the Junior Culinary Team Canada. Their dish was steelhead and halibut press, scallop ahi tuna bar, poached daikon taro har gow, sweet carrot puree, hot and sour emulsion and green curry sauce.
Best Booth: River Rock Casino
Healthiest Plate: Executive Inn Coquitlam
Best Dessert: Hyatt Regency
People's Choice: Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Community College
The gala event was a collaboration between the BC Produce Marketing Association (BCPMA) and the BCCA which brings the food industry together to promoting healthy eating.
