North America’s biggest festival dedicated to mac and cheese is going on tour this summer to celebrate its fifth anniversary, and the weekend of ooey, gooey, cheesy fun is coming to Vancouver.
The Toronto-based Mac and Cheese Festival is a food fest for a good cause: “Celebrity chefs, savvy cooks, and talented entrepreneurs come together for one weekend to raise funds for charity by creating new concoctions of mac and cheese for fans to try,” explains the event.
Launched in 2015, for the summer of 2019 the Mac and Cheese Festival will be touring the country, and will be in 鶹ýӳAugust 9-11 at Concord Plaza.
So just what kind of eats await you? Mac and cheese is for sure the star, on its own, loaded with toppings, or worked into bubble waffles, tacos, poutine, sandwiches, and more. There are even sweet treat versions of mac and cheese, too.
Admission to the event is free – you’ll just pay for whatever M&C you want to check out.
