During a visit to Barcelona, 's Joanne Mogridge was captivated by the sculptural qualities of Enric Rovira's exquisite chocolates. The Bowen Island chocolatier was inspired to create her own one-of-a-kind alternatives to the ubiquitous Easter egg. The sun-sculpted eggs, which are made with certified organic and fair-trade chocolate, will be available at this weekend's market at the Creekside Community Centre in Olympic Village (March 24 and 25.) They come in 4-inch and 6-inch sizes, adorned with a nest of chocolate twigs, an Unbelievably Good Egg soft caramel and chocolate centre truffle rolled with toasted almonds and solid dark chocolate eggs.
