Local clothing retailer Lifetime Collective has teamed up with Vancouver-based singer/songwriterSophia Danaifor a summer shoot featuring some of their favourite pieces from the Womens Spring/Summer 2012 collection (available for sale at select retailers across Canada andonline at ). Sophia Danai caught the attention of Grammy award-winning producer, Chin Injeti, widely known for his work in the hip-hop world (Eminem, Clipse, 50 Cent and Drake), and while one might not find the connection likely, Sophia says it was a chance to create the music she imagined and to explore new horizons. As WE mapped out in a March editorial feature on the company, Lifetime is known for collaborating with up-and-coming local artists across all genres, but the artists also have to be pushing their own boundaries to catch the attention of the fashion collective. Along those lines, Sophias self-produced online magazine,Wishing Well,is a whimsical diversion from the successful path the singer is charting. In the most recent issue you can find a Q & A with Lifetime womens designer Jude Feller (Issuu.com/wishingwell). As a bonus, Sophias latest song Money is available for free download at .
