The average woman wears 20 per cent of her wardrobe 80 per cent of the time and has around 22 pieces of unworn clothing hanging in her closet. Re-Fashion Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»is for people who want to make back some of the money theyve spent on all the unworn clothes theyve bought.

Its a one-day shopping event that is part spring-cleaning, part massive clothing sale. Its designed for condo-dwellers and fashionistas to be able to come together, make some cash by clearing out their closets, and buy new and nearly new clothes at deep discounts. Its also for people who would love to buy essentially new clothes for less than the original store price.

The event, originally designed to be a clothing sale, has evolved into something more akin to a shopping party. Shoppers will not only be able to raid the wardrobes of more than 60 local fashionistas for designer clothing at discounted prices, they will also receive free hair styling and mini makeovers from students of the Aveda Institute, manicures and hand-massages from Luxe Beauty Lounge, free fashion-themed cupcakes from Love Sugar Cakes, refreshing teas from Davids Tea, savoury bites from Cache Bistro & Lounge, and many more free giveaways, contests and prizes. The first 20 shoppers through the doors will also receive swag bags packed with goodies from local businesses.

The event is April 21 at the Yaletown Roundhouse Exhibition Hall (181 Roundhouse Mews). For more information visit ReFashionVancouver.com, become a fan on Facebook and follow on Twitter @refashionvan.
