CIAO BELLA: Designer Donatella Versaces recent collaboration with H&M has taken a lot of hits. Many like the scandal that arose from her refusing to allow anyone over a size 6 to wear her collection in print she brought on herself. Others like it looked trashy can hardly be attributed to her. Or if they can, its only because shes been doing trashy for years. For their latest partnership, H&M has gone in a decidedly different direction by pairing up with Consuelo Castiglioni, the founder and creative director of trendsetting Italian fashion label Marni. Whether dabbling with futuristic silhouettes and fabrics or injecting romantic pops of colour into flowing garments, Marnis pared-down, modern lines and clean looks are understated and classic, much like the designer herself. H&Ms Marni collection will be available in select H&M stores on March 8, 2012.
