The CP Holiday Train is set to journey across Canada this year for its 20th year collecting food and raising funds for food banks across North America.
In fact, the annual journey has raised over $14.5 million and gathered 4.3 million pounds of food for communities along CP鈥檚 routes in Canada and the United States.
The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train entertains hundreds of thousands of people every year, and each event is free.
Beginning in Montreal on November 25th, the train will visit 143 communities across North America. What鈥檚 more, the train will make four stops in the Lower Mainland.
The Sam Roberts Band will perform at the train鈥檚 sops through Alberta and British Columbia, and the final show of the 2018 CP Holiday Train tour will be held in Port Coquitlam on December 18th. The Sam Roberts Band will also be joined by Kelly Prescott and Tracey Brown.
The Lower Mainland stops include:
- Maple Ridge 鈥 December 17th at 7:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
- Pitt Meadows 鈥 December 17th at 9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

鈥淥n behalf of the 13,000-strong family here at CP, it is my great pleasure to kick-off the 20th tour of the CP Holiday Train,鈥 said Keith Creel, CP鈥檚 President and Chief Executive Officer.
鈥淚t is a privilege for CP to be able to run a program like this and connect with so many communities across our network. I want to personally thank each individual who has made a donation over the past 20 years 鈥 your collective efforts have made the Holiday Train a huge success for two decades.鈥
