Showcasing the edible wares of about two dozen of B.C.’s best plant-based vendors, a mini Veg Fest is happening this weekend in Vancouver.
Taking place in Mount Pleasant on Sunday, Sept. 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., this market-style vegan food fest will be a one-stop shop for some amazing animal-free products.
In addition to the foods for purchase— such as colourful goodies from Dipped Doughnut Co., tasty nut milks from NutMeg Mylk, tempeh from Tempea and plant-based cheese from Blue Heron — Veg Fest will also have live music, beer and the chance to chat with some of the region’s coolest plant-based food producers.
