As lifestyle editor at the Â鶹´«Ă˝Ół»Courier, I’m lucky that during the year some really great gifts land on my desk.
And while I try and write about some of these items, I can’t always get to all of them — my apologies. But, I will attempt to make up for that now by not only writing about some of these items, but by also giving them away to someone who will either appreciate them or pass them on as a gift to someone else who will enjoy them.
This week’s prize pack includes , a cookbook made up of recipes from some favourite Whistler eateries launched during the annual food and wine festival, , a regionally inspired cookbook from the , a pound of sustainable, ethically produced Ethiopian coffee beans (you’re going to need a grinder) and Good Earth a gingerbread family — $1 from each sold is donated to a local food bank.
And I’m making it easy to enter. You don’t have to “follow” me or fill out a form or sign up for a newsletter. All you have to do is email me at [email protected] with the word “Coffee” in the subject line and we’ll hold a random draw next week. You also have to be able to pick the prize up from the Courier office on West Fifth Avenue between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. — it’s that simple. Ěý
And congratulations to Cindy Leung for winning last week’s Lush prize pack.
Note: Unless I hear from the winner within a week, that prize will go to another reader who emailed me about that particular gift pack. In the past I’ve had tickets go to waste and prizes sit unclaimed when someone else could have enjoyed them, so I’m going to add this caveat — if you can’t make it in right away, just let me know. (It also annoys our office manager when her desk gets piled up with stuff and we don’t want that to happen.)
