The Rumpus Room is now open at 2601 Main St. The casual, fun-focused room comes courtesy of Rachel Zottenberg and David Duprey of The Narrow. According to Zottenberg, the décor is your parents 70s basement rec room meets your favourite 70s lake cabin. Think vintage couches, sinks and toilets the colour of avocado, games, formica and a long, dark wood bar. WE readers may remember this project as Fast Food Disco, but the liquor licensing bigwigs made them change it because they didnt want customers to think they could get fast food and alcohol at the same time (which is an apparent no-no).
