Reservations for the participating 225 local restaurants in Tourism Vancouvers 10th annual food festival are going fast. Terry Deanes much anticipated Pizzeria Barbarella is now open at 654 E. Broadway (just west of Fraser). The former Ah-Beetz pizzaiolo started working on launching Barbarella over a year agoto honour the memory of his mother. Historians take note: the wood employed in thetable tops and bar were custom built from reclaimed 100-year-old Douglas fir planks that had been rescued from last years Pantages Theatre demolition.Expect a review in the coming weeks.
