The opening of Chewies Oyster Bar at 2201 Yew (just up from Kits Beach) is getting closer. The new, casual restaurant from Richard Chewie Chew (formerly of Rodneys Oyster Bar) will show off the talents ofTyrell Brandvold, who comes to the project via stints at Cafeteria on Main, the Flying Fish in Seattle, and the award-winning Boucherie in New Orleans. The inaugural service isscheduled for the first week of December.
