Favourite memories of trip: Cellar Jazz club owner Cory Weeds took a group of about 20 Vancouverites on a nine-day jazz tour of New York in early spring. While in the Big Apple, the group visited Birdland, Village Vanguard, Lincoln Centre, Smalls, Smoke and Druids to name a few of the 10 venues that were included. Cory chaperoned the group on and off the subway and buses without losing anyone, noted group member Graham Laxton. The lucky group even got to see Cory perform at a couple of the venues.
