The Delta Lifeboat will be on display and open to visitors this Saturday and Sunday at the Richmond Maritime Festival, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.Ìý
The vessel will be located at the Britannia Heritage Shipyard in Steveston where other historical vessels will be on display as well as musical and children’s events.Ìý All ages will be entertained.Ìý
Volunteer crew members will be there to explain and demonstrate the search and rescue rolls the volunteers and the boat play assisting the marine community of Delta and the rest of the Fraser River area.ÌýEspecially how they help keep the River safe for all the mariners during the upcoming Fraser sockeye fishery.
