From cool airplanes in the sky to hot cars on the ground, there are tons of fun events happening this weekend in South Delta.
Here are some of the highlights:

• The Tsawwassen Farmers’ Market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Benediction Lutheran Church (56th Street and 6th Avenue). The market features many unique local vendors with crafts, fresh produce and baked goods as well as entertainment.

• Alpha Aviation and the City of Delta are hosting the Boundary Bay Airshow at Boundary Bay Airport. There will be static aircraft displays, aerobatic acts and a car/plane race. Gates open at 11 a.m. with the show getting underway at noon. Admission is free.

•ÌýCheck out the Hospice Cottage Charity Shoppe, 1521-56th St., Tsawwassen, as it holds a sale featuring a selection of jewelry, watches and sunglasses.

• The Killing Floor Blues Band and the Eastside Ramblers band will play the Tsawwassen Legion starting at 8 p.m. Admission is $10 or by donation.

• The Ladner Village Market runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. One of the largest outdoor markets in the Lower Mainland takes over the streets of Ladner Village with vendors, food and entertainment.

• The third annual Primerose Hotrod & Classic Car Show runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot around the Primerose Mediterranean Restaurant (6165 Highway 17A in Ladner). All makes and models of cars are welcome at this family-friendly event. All proceeds go to support the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation.

• This is the last day to catch the South Delta Artists Guild’s Summer Showcase at Gallery 1710 in Tsawwassen. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
