Here they grow again: Popular Italian restaurant has revealed plans for their third Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»location. Autostrada will be moving into a brand new restaurant space at the base of the new Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»House development in downtown.
Autostrada is the venture of chef Lucais Syme and business partner Dustin Dockendorf, who first had Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»taking notice when they launched Cinara on Pender in downtown. In 2018 they created Autostrada on south Main Street — aÌýsibling spot that's a no-reservations, boisterous, laid-back osteria showcasing a slim menu of house-made pastas and antipasta, negronis and wine.
By the end of 2018, however, Syme, Dockendorf and the Cinara/Autostrada team opted to bring Cinara's chapter to a close; a few weeks later the space had transformed into a second outpost of Autostrada.
Now the signage is up at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»House for the third Autostrada location, with a targeted opening of spring 2020.

Autostrada is also joining the ranks of Vancouver-based restaurants that are keen on replicating their success at multiple venues across the region.Ìý
