You don鈥檛 get many Christmas carollers on your doorstep these days, but there is still a lot to sing about during the holiday season.
For those who can鈥檛 get enough of Christmas music, this chorale carol showdown on the city streets is a must-experience event this December.
Called , this fun, festive, free event takes place outside in Gastown, and finds dozens of local choirs and singing groups going head to head in an exciting sing-off fundraiser.
Participating groups raise funds to get into the Yule Duel, with those bringing in at least $1000 heading to the mainstage. Fans can cheer on their favourites, while a panel of judges cast their votes for their picks.
All of the funds raised from Yule Duel go to May鈥檚 Place hospice.
