It’s Halloween season in Vancouver, both on and off the ice.
In celebration of the spookiest time of the year, the 鶹ýӳCanucks have released an epic in-arena opening video of a game between them and a demon army.
Representing every NHL team, the demon army “has taken over Rogers Arena.” Now, it’s “do or die” for the 鶹ýӳCanucks.
At the beginning of the video, the viewer is told how, “50 years of battle waged with our enemies, has readied us to face off against all who take to our ice.” Following this, the players gloriously suit up and skate onto the ice, which is appropriately cloaked in fog.
With glowing red eyes and zombie faces, the demon players are a particularly creepy sight to behold. They grind their teeth and open and close their mouths in a particularly flesh-hungry fashion as they wait for the game to begin.
