New Westminster teacher Ali Hasan can now also call himself Jeopardy! champion.
Hasan was the only contestant to answer Tuesday鈥檚 Final Jeopardy! question correctly, finishing with a final take of $20,401 after entering the final round in the lead with $10,800.
He correctly answered 鈥淲ho is Dewey?鈥� to the question, 鈥淚n Nov. 3, 1948 he sent a congratulatory telegram, then told reporters, 鈥淚 was just as surprised as you.鈥�
Hasan beat two-day winner Seattle lawyer Deidre Thomas.
He will try and make it two in a row on Wednesday (tonight).
Jeopardy! airs on CHEK from Monday to Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
