The “otterly” adorable play day was part of the 鶹ýӳAquarium’s enrichment program for its two-year-old rescued sea otters Mak and Kunik, and eight-month-old rescued sea otter pup Hardy.
These sessions, overseen by the aquarium’s marine mammal trainers, are an important part of everyday care for marine mammals living at the facility, says the aquarium, and provide mental and physical stimulation for the animals while strengthening their bonds with their trainers.
