It’s official: All-Christmas music radio has begun in Vancouver

It might be Black Friday, but for those who love “Jingle Bells,” and “Silent Night,” and “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” today is a magical day in Vancouver. QMFM 103.5 flipped the switch to being an all-Christmas music radio station at 9 a.m.

It might be Black Friday, but for those who love “Jingle Bells,” and “Silent Night,” and “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” today is a magical day in Vancouver.

QMFM 103.5 to being an all-Christmas music radio station at 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, with a cover of the 1963 Darlene Love song “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” for a nice little bit of Christmassy CanCon.

This of course means it’s truly undeniable…we are in the one-month countdown to the arrival of jolly old St. Nick, and our collective ears may soon bleed from endless spins of “All I Want for Christmas is You.”

Hopefully QMFM will limit themselves to minimal plays of this , which we’ve called the worst (in the best way!) Canadian Christmas song ever.
