Anyone who dreads turning 29 probably still thinks 鈥渟hots鈥� are an acceptable way to consume alcohol. Not the limber peeps at Ballet B.C., which kicks off its 29th season with the appropriately titled program No. 29. In addition to stylishly well-ventilated outfits, the show features the world premiere of 鈥淲hite Act鈥� by Spanish-born choreographer Fernando Hernando Magadan, the Ballet B.C. premiere of 鈥淎n Instant鈥� by Vancouver-born choreographer Lesley Telford and the reprisal of 鈥渢he explosive audience favourite鈥� 鈥淎.U.R.A.鈥� by Italy鈥檚 Jacopo Godani.
