One of the most buzzed-about films of the year, Sean Baker’s low-budget, screwball comedy Tangerine was shot entirely on iPhones and depicts the funny and achingly-emotional ties that bind two transgender L.A. prostitutes, played by first-time actors Kiki Kitana Rodriguez and Mya Taylor, on one hyper-charged and dramatic Christmas Eve.
