Venerable Scottish indie rock outfit the Vaselines are probably best known around these parts for their songs “Molly’s Lips” and “Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam,” which Nirvana covered. Founded in 1986 by Eugene Kelly and Frances McKee, the long-serving Scots play the Electric Owl Jan. 23 in support of their latest, V for Vaselines. Loch Lomond opens.
