Young B.C. or Yukon First Nations artists are now invited to apply for the Aspiring Artists Awards with the YVR Art Foundation.
For up to ten artists between the ages of 13 and 19, the art scholarship is an opportunity to develop artistic potential. Award winners also receive $500 to support their self-directed work in the visual arts.
To be eligible, young artists must be between the ages of 13 and 19, B.C. or Yukon First Nations ancestry and must reside in B.C. or the Yukon. They also must showcase visual art that reflects B.C. or Yukon First Nations’ art and culture. Deadline to apply is this Thursday, March 29. Interested artists can view the .
