Care for a sky-high ride by the ocean to end the work week?
Variety – The Children’s Charity will host its Variety Week Wrap Party for the first time at Vancouver’s Sunset Beach this Friday, Oct. 4 and feature a 60-foot ferris wheel.
The festivities kick off at noon and will include carnival attractions, concessions, musical guests and the “Club Heartly Kids Korner”. Accent Inns will offer family activities throughout the day, while The Gaming Stadium will host an interactive Esports experience for videogame enthusiasts.
Of course, the ferris wheel will be the main attraction, where participants will enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the city from high above.
Variety Week runs from Sept. 30 through Oct. 4. Organizers hope to raise enough money to reach 60 children a day, and all proceeds from the event will go towards helping kids with special needs.
