Granville Island celebrates its seventh annual winter festival of West Coast and international arts, Feb. 24 to 26. Winterruption includes kid-friendly activities and performances for kids by Carousel Theatre and Arts Umbrella, musical performances presented by Coastal Jazz and Blues Society, foodie tours and open studios. Emily Carr University of Art and Design is hosting behind-the-scenes tours and drop-in life drawing and Edible Canada presents a guided culinary market tour, a Canadian beer and wine tasting and/or a three-course dinner.
