White Spot à la food cart

The city's ever-expanding food-truck scene increased this week by one with the addition of Triple O's On The Go, a fast-food division of White Spot and the first mobile kitchen in Canada belonging to a restaurant chain. As well as serving the famous White Spot Triple O burger, the food cart will act as mobile test kitchen to gather feedback on everything from new markets to new menus. The founder of White Spot was local businessman Nat Bailey, who some say originated the food-cart industry in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»in the 1920s when he began selling hotdogs and milkshakes from his 1918 Model T Ford at Lookout Point in Stanley Park. The Triple O's On The Go truck will take the place of the barbecues and tents previously used at charity events across the city.
