Earth Day Makeover Stanley Park Ecology Society (SPES) invites Vancouverites to celebrate Earth Day and give back to the local habitat through invasive plant removal and weaving, nest basket installation, and native plant planting. A SPES naturalist will also offer guided tours of the great blue heron colony in Stanley Park where heron pairs are busily laying eggs in 71 nests.
