Wine box art at The Beaumont

Multidisciplinary artist Arne Gutmann brings his imagination and the work of 30 artists from Whistler to San Diego to The Beaumont Studios (316 W. 5 at Alberta).

His newest brainchild T.A.B. The Wine Box is an experiment in repurposed media.

Providing 30 notable artists with wooden wine boxes, Gutmann let their imaginations run wild, providing them with only one clear guideline: "Explore YOUR issue."

Opening night is Thursday, Feb. 28, from 8 p.m. to midnight.

The collection will show at The Beaumont until March 14, weekdays noon to 6 p.m.
