Vancouverites, this is your mission: on Thursday, March 29, go out for breakfast. Then go out for lunch. And then, even if youre full, go out for dinner. But not just anywhere. Support the 225 restaurants which are taking part in the annual one-day fundraising feast called Dining Out for Life (DiningOutForLife.com). A portion of the proceeds from each meal is donated to A Loving Spoonful and Friends for Life, two organizations which are dedicated to improving the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS. Raising a glass to the restaurants and diners who together raise tens of thousands of dollars every year are Sheena Sargeant, executive director of Friends For Life, honourary chef Ned Bell of Yew Restaurant, centre, and Lisa Martella, executive director of A Loving Spoonful.
