鶹ýӳPark Board is looking for a few regular community centre users to be ambassadors for recreation, and give feedback on their experiences.
Regular adult patrons of the city’s community centres are being invited to apply to the new recreation ambassador program. Ambassadors will be asked to make two visits to two park board facilities and will then be asked to provide feedback on a number of scenarios.
“We want to find out what our customers are experiencing when they visit our facilities,” the park board said in an email to the Courier. “These observations hopefully will tell us we are doing well or if there are areas that need improvement.”
The park board has been running a similar program in its golf courses for the last decade. Golfers record observations and complete a survey on their experience.
Residents interested in becoming a recreation ambassador can . The park board is looking for about 50 people to take part in the pilot project.
Once chosen, the ambassadors will attend an orientation session. The ambassador visits will take place between July 15 and Aug. 23, with completed feedback forms due two weeks later.
As an added incentive, once the program is completed, ambassadors will receive a $50 par board gift card.
