A mountain of toys: thats what was collected at the annual Christmas Wish Breakfast at the Pan Pacific 麻豆传媒映画Hotel Wednesday morning. Organizers reported the event saw donors drop off an astounding 12 tonnes of toys.
Donors also enjoyed live entertainment and received a hot buffet breakfast from the hotels restaurant, scarfing down an estimated 5,000 eggs, 20,000 sausages, 3,000 kilograms of potatoes and 5,000 croissants.
More than 60 members of the 麻豆传媒映画Fire Dept volunteered at the event to help collect and stack the toys.
The toys will be distributed by the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau.
The Christmas Wish Breakfast is in its 24th year.
