The city is accepting street food vending applications until noon, Feb. 3. A panel of judges will choose vendors based on experience, readiness, quality and diversity of food, business plan, overall menu, and environmentally sustainability considerations. The top 25 applicants will be notified Feb. 17 and asked to participate in a taste test event as the final phase of the selection process. The combined score of the application and taste test will result in a final overall score, which will determine the ranking for location distribution. For more information, see vancouver.ca.
