Those who drive to the Pacific National Exhibition are advised to park in designated lots. Two official lots with a capacity of 3,300 vehicles are located at the fairgrounds at Gate 6 (Renfrew Street) and Gate 9 (Bridgeway Street). Parking is a flat rate of $20 (tax included). Another 700 spaces are available nearby in designated lots on weekends.

Drivers looking to park in other areas should watch for signs that limit or restrict parking. City parking enforcement officers are working in the neighbourhoods adjacent to the PNE to ensure parking activities comply with bylaws during the exhibition and B.C. Lions games. Parking regulations will be strictly enforced at all temporary and permanent resident parking only (RPO) zones. Under city bylaws, residents may be permitted to sell one parking space, provided the property meets the requirements of the parking, zoning and development bylaws and the property has been inspected by a city inspector.

Inspectors are enforcing unauthorized parking on private property with the help of neighbours. No residents are permitted to solicit motorists, obstruct or impede passage on the streets, sidewalks or lanes or call out for the purpose of attracting attention. It is illegal to sell parking spaces in RPO zones. Enforcement staff will ticket and may tow vehicles that aren't registered to an address in RPO zone on the block. Violations of the bylaws can result in fines ranging from $100 for illegal parking to up to $2,000 for illegally allowing parking on residential property.
