Clubs across the country, including the Greater Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Orienteering Club, host events for beginners, hold races and celebrate their members from May 5 to 13. The first 20 people to arrive and sign up as new members will get free entry into the "Why Just Run" race at Rice Lake on May 13. Registration for the Rice Lake race begins at 9: 30 a.m. on the day of the race, which begins at 11 a.m. Courses vary in length and difficulty and cover the forested terrain of the North Shore.
