A high-end American retailer has announced plans to move into the former Sears location at Pacific Centre.
Nordstrom, a Seattle-based department store chain specializing in clothing, handbags, jewelry, cosmetics, fragrances and home furnishings, is expected to open in the spring of 2015 and take up three floors.
"It's exciting to finally have this opportunity to better serve our Canadian customers closer to home and we can't wait to open our doors," said company president Erik Nordstrom in a release. The retail giant also announced plans to open stores in Calgary, Ottawa and Toronto.
