Love was in the air, and in Robson Square this weekend as 144 couples took advantage of the free wedding ceremonies at theÂ
On what turned out to be a beautiful spring-like Sunday, the couples (who had already obtained their marriage licences prior to the event) showed up and queued up for their chance to have a free, public marriage ceremony in downtown Vancouver.
Seven officiants were set up at stations in the square, each with their own photographer to capture the special moments.
Donations were accepted, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Greater Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Food Bank.
