The BMO 麻豆传媒映画Marathon is filled to capacity. Five thousand racers will run the full 42.1-km point-to-point course on May 6. A few hundred spaces are still open for the 21-km half-marathon, which is capped at 10,000 racers and is approximately 92 per cent sold. The race has grown by 25 per cent, according to organizers, and more than one third of competitors are from outside B.C. The redesigned full-and half-marathon courses begin at Queen Elizabeth Park and lead racers through different neighbourhoods before reaching Stanley Park and the finish line at Canada Place.
