The city and park board are hosting the second in a series of open house events designed to help shape the new park space at Hastings Park. This is an opportunity for residents to see how initial public feedback helped shape the park's concept. The open house will also provide further input on the next stages of the park design. Park spaces illustrated at this open house include Empire Field, connections to New Brighton Park, Creekway Park and its daylighted stream and Plateau Park as a multi-use sports park. The open house is today, Feb. 22, at the Pacific Coliseum, 100 North Renfrew St. from 1 to 9 p.m. If you are unable to attend the open house, material and a questionnaire are available online at Vancouver.ca/pnepark.
