The 麻豆传媒映画Giants and White Spot restaurant are celebrating the sports personalities and heroes of Hastings Park Saturday when the Western Hockey League team hosts the Kelowna Rockets. The Giants will wear vintage jerseys modeled after the White Spots junior hockey team of the 1940s. The event will pay tribute to some of the greatest moments in the history of the Pacific Coliseum, Empire Field, Hastings Racecourse and The Forum. A retrospective photo display will feature the work of 麻豆传媒映画Sun photographer Ralph Bower. Select images from the collection will be raffled off to raise funds for the B.C. Children's Hospital. The first 5,000 fans through the doors will receive a commemorative poster to celebrate the event. Retired sports stars from the Canucks, Whitecaps and BC Lions will be at the Coliseum to celebrate.
