1. Two Views from the Sylvia
Two original one-act musical plays about Vancouver’s iconic Sylvia Hotel for the price of one:ÌýSylvia’s HotelÌýrelates the origin of the renowned West End hotel and the Goldstein family who built it;ÌýThe Hotel SylviaÌýpresents a cast of characters whose lives became interwoven with the venue’s story over its 100-year history. Directed by Christopher King, and starring Tom Pickett as Joe Fortes/John and Advah Soudack as Sylvia. Produced by Kol Halev, a nonprofit performance society dedicated to portraying stories rooted in Jewish experience.

5. Circle Craft Christmas Market
The city’s favourite craft fair celebrates 45 years with more than 300 artisans from across Canada, from clothing designers to glass blowers and toymakers. There’s also the Ìýreturn of the Grapes & Grains distilleries and wineries section, local performers, craft technique demos and contests. Ticket purchase includes unlimited re-entry on any day of the 2017 show.
