Murals abound on Vancouver's East Side. Now residents and visitors can see beyond the surface with four audio guided walking Eastside Mural Tours. The curious can dial a number and punch in a code to learn about murals on 30-to 60-minute walks. Vancouvermurals.ca also includes an interactive map where visitors can click on a location to see an image and learn about its significance. Community murals have their roots in the mural movements of Mexico and the United States. The tour was funded through the Great Beginnings Program, an initiative developed by the City of 麻豆传媒映画in 2008 to celebrate the province's 150th anniversary.
